Witnessing the remarkable healing potential of acupuncture under my grandmother's skilled hands ignited my unwavering dedication to this ancient art.

Committed to honing my expertise, I pursued a formal education in acupuncture and have since emerged as a certified holistic acupuncturist with a decade of hands-on experience.

Having earned my credentials from the prestigious New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, New York, and securing my New York State license in Acupuncture, I proudly established my own acupuncture clinic in the vibrant city of Plattsburgh, New York.

 

Alongside my practice, I took great pleasure in imparting the transformative knowledge of Reiki to fellow residents in Northern New York, contributing to their holistic well-being. My contributions were recognized in the esteemed pages of DoNorth magazine, where I shed light on the immense benefits of Reiki and fostered a deeper understanding within the community.

 

Beyond the realm of acupuncture and healing arts, I have dedicated over four decades of my life to unraveling the rich tapestry of family history. Not only have I delved into the annals of my own ancestry, but I have also assisted countless individuals in their quest to explore and document their familial heritage. My passion for genealogy culminated in the publication of my inaugural family history book, "Tan Americans of Clinton County, New York," in 2009.

 

A testament to my meticulous research and unwavering commitment, this work garnered attention from the television program "Who Do You Think You Are," which sought my expertise in researching the family lineage of celebrity icon Steve Tyler of Aerosmith. In subsequent years, I further refined and expanded my book, reimagining it as "Family History of Clinton County, New York," while simultaneously establishing family history book publications to showcase the extensive research I have conducted throughout the years.

In my practice, I employ the time-honored techniques of traditional Chinese Medicine to address a wide range of ailments that plague the body and mind.
